Sure We Can is a nonprofit redemption center that was founded by canners -- people who collect cans and bottles and redeem them to earn a living, five cents at a time. Our facility, a 16,000-square-foot lot in Bushwick where more than a million cans and bottles are redeemed each month, offers a glimpse of the role canners play in the circular economy. Visitors will also learn about Sure We Can's organizing and educational activities, such as our advocacy efforts to expand the New York State bottle bill.

Closed-toe shoes required.

Tours of the space will be offered at 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm.
