Series Description

In neighborhoods across New York, libraries serve as both vibrant learning institutions and centers for their communities. Building on OHNY’s Radical Knowledge Urban Systems program, which was launched in 2021, this series explores the role of libraries as both physical and social infrastructure, and how their built and virtual spaces enrich civic life, expand economic opportunity, and improve the quality of place and quality of life for New Yorkers.

Note: The full 2022 OHNY Weekend lineup, including the Radical Knowledge series, will be released to the public on October 6. Want a sneak peek? Become an OHNY member today and preview the lineup on September 29.
