On Tuesday, June 11, OHNY board member and PAU architect, Ruchika Modi, led OHNY Open Council members on an exclusive tour of The Refinery at Domino, a state-of the-art, 425,000-square-foot workspace housed within the 19th century Domino Sugar Refinery.

555 Greenwich with COOKFOX Architects

On Tuesday, July 18, COOKFOX Architects led OHNY’s Open Council Circle on an exclusive tour of 555 Greenwich, a brand new addition to the Hudson Square neighborhood. In this tour, attendees witnessed and learned firsthand about the groundbreaking design and innovative features that are redefining sustainable building practices in New York City.

The Brooklyn Tower with JDS Development Group & SHoP Architects

Anchored by the historic Dime Savings Bank of Brooklyn and rising more than one thousand feet into the city skyline, The Brooklyn Tower marks NYC’s first supertall outside Manhattan.

Open House New York was joined by leadership from SHoP Architects and JDS Development for an inside look at the project design, followed by drinks, networking and, of course, stunning views from the 56th floor.

Breakfast with Public Design Commission’s Sreoshy Banerjea

Open Council gathered for a special breakfast conversation with Sreoshy Banerjea, the newly-appointed executive director of the city’s design review agency, the Public Design Commission

The hour-long program featured a brief presentation from Sreoshy, guided conversation led by OHNY executive director Pamela Puchalski, and an open discussion.
