Save the Date: Open House Worldwide Festival

Save the date: the first-ever Open House Worldwide festival is November 14-15 2020!

From Athens to Zurich, Open House New York is part of a network of more than 40 cities around that globe that host Open House festivals.

This year, it has become more clear than ever that the challenges faced as individual neighborhoods, cities and nations are challenges shared across the globe. From Covid-19 to the climate crisis, the scale of these issues transcend borders and time zones and require bold, broad and interconnected responses.

In November, Open House Worldwide will tackle these challenges with its first collaborative event: a free 48-hour virtual festival of events, discussions, tours and more. With contributions from over 40 cities across the network, we will take perspectives on community planning in Chicago to audiences in Slovenia; sharing innovative responses to the pandemic in Taipei to urban thinkers in Buenos Aires; or opening conversations on public housing between Barcelona, Lagos, Mexico City and beyond.
