Situated in Central Park since 1877, the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre offers architectural charm and marionette performances for families from all over New York City, as well as those visiting from elsewhere. On OHNY Weekend, the cottage will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. A video presentation showcasing the history of the Swedish Cottage and puppeteers will be shown at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm, followed by a short performance of _The Dandelion’s Wish_ by author, illustrator, and Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre puppeteer Fatima Sambo Schoenfelder.
