While the Yard will have Open Access from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, visitors are highly encouraged to RSVP for free. Please note, the Yard will not have Open Access on Sunday, October 22.

Boat: Take the NYC Ferry to Brooklyn Navy Yard/Dock 72 Bus: Take B69 or B57 to Flushing Avenue Bike: The Yard is easily accessible off the Brooklyn Greenway on Flushing Avenue Foot: Enter at Building 77 or the Sands Street Gate *Car: Street parking only: please note non-permitted vehicles will not be allowed to park inside the Yard

To participate in all related OHNY activities, attendees must register at one of the check-in points. Please note, many of the Yard’s buildings were constructed during or before WWII or before so they may not be fully accessible or wheelchair friendly. It is suggested that those visitors in wheelchairs centralize their visit to Building 77. Questions regarding accessibility can be directed to programs@bnydc.org

Open Studios Series This program is offered during OHNY Weekend as a part of Open Studios, a series offering a peek inside the studios of some of New York's leading artists, architects, and engineers to provide a cross-section of our city's contemporary design scene.
