Ty Trippet

Ty Trippet works in corporate communications at Bloomberg LP where he serves as spokesperson for the global financial technology, data and media company. Before joining Bloomberg in 2010, Ty worked as a communications executive at media companies including Reuters and Time magazine. He started his career in the political and government arenas, working as a legislative aide in the United States Senate and staffed two presidential campaigns. He’s also served in the nonprofit sector as a communications specialist at the Open Society Institute and the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Originally from Oklahoma, Ty is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and currently lives amidst the thriving arts and culture scene of Bushwick, Brooklyn.
