Louise Harpman is a Professor of Architecture, Urban Design, and Sustainability at NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. She is also an Associated Faculty member at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, a Faculty Adviser to the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute, and an architectural adviser to the university's Senior Leadership Team. Her design practice, Louise Harpman__PROJECTS, focuses on net-zero energy buildings, micro-housing, and urban streetscapes. Before founding PROJECTS, Louise was, for twenty years, a principal in the award-winning architecture firm Specht Harpman, which was named Emerging Voices by the Architectural League of New York and listed among the “top 50 emerging architectural practices” in Wallpaper* magazine.
