Caroline Otto

Caroline Otto, AIA, LEED AP is the Studio Director of McBride Architects, a design firm based in New York City. Prior to this, Caroline served as Studio Director at MBH Architects, an award-winning multi-disciplinary firm headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in New York City, Denver, and Mumbai, following her long tenure with anderson architects when they merged with MBH in 2018. Her work includes a wide range of project types from residential to institutional to hospitality, with extensive work in retail and workplace design from concept through construction. Originally from Florida, Caroline attended school in Massachusetts where she graduated from Smith College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and received a Master of Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Caroline is a founding board member of Open House New York.
