Alison Pirie

Alison Pirie joined Open House New York as the Development & Communications Associate in April 2022. She transitioned to OHNY from New York's arts nonprofit sector, where she held various roles at Chashama and The Sketchbook Project, focusing on development, special events, communications, and operations. Passionate about supporting artists and engaging the public in the arts, Alison serves on the Board of Directors for Manufacturers Village Artists in East Orange, NJ, and is actively involved in her local art community in Montclair, NJ. Alison holds a BFA in Studio Art from Chapman University and is a practicing artist and curator. Outside of OHNY, you can find her creating art in her apartment studio, curating multimedia exhibitions, or designing costumes for her pet bunny, Boo.
