Can I just show up?

At Drop-In locations: Yes!

More than half of festival destinations are Drop-In. No tickets are needed at 158 places—you can just show up! Embrace spontaneity, endure the occasional line (unless you have a Weekend Passport), and discover something new. Peek inside archives and artist studios, go behind-the-scenes at manufacturing spaces, hear from architects, curators, and more, all for free.

At Ticketed locations: No.

Some festival locations are Ticketed for capacity or security reasons. Tickets are required to attend these tours. Most tickets are $7, available first-come, first-serve, and will be released at the same time for everyone: Friday, October 2 at 12 PM ET. Demand is high, and tickets always sell out quickly. More than 10,500 tickets are available this year.
