Founded in the wake of 9/11, Open House New York promotes broad, public access to the city. Through our signature OHNY Weekend festival and year-round programming, OHNY invites curious New Yorkers to peek behind the scenes and meet the people who design the city and keep its systems running.
The Open City Benefit is Open House New York’s largest single source of support, and ensures we can continue to open New York.

2025 Highlights
On April 30, 2025, the Open City Benefit brought together design and civic leaders for a festive evening in BLDG 303 at Brooklyn Navy Yard.
