Karim Rehmat
Karim Rehmat is Founder of a boutique multi-family office and wealth advisory firm, Kent Advisory, focused on alternative investing and legacy planning. The practice builds on his past 25+ years of managing and operating private equity funds, hedge funds and family offices as a Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Karim was Partner and Head of Operations for Centerfin Capital, a fintech in the wealth management space. Prior, he was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Paragon Outcomes Management, a private equity firm focused on real estate, real assets and credit. In the years preceding, Karim managed larger hedge funds, including D.B. Zwirn and HFR Asset Management and was a chief advisor to the President/CEO on a wide range of strategic topics. He began his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen. Karim is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Over the past decade, he has been active in philanthropy projects with the Aga Khan Foundation and the Chicago Historical Society, which have included co-chairing a gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
