Development Associate
Caroline Mendoza
Caroline Mendoza has joined Open House New York as a Development Associate. Prior to OHNY, she supported events and fundraising across the NGO world, including at Refugees International, the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, Columbia Libraries, and The Conference Board.
As a student, Caroline’s research focused on public history and open access to knowledge, the same questions that now shape her work in development. That mix of experiences, alongside her own background as a mixed Mexican-Korean, regular NYC babysitter, and former bassoonist, shapes her passion for OHNY's work with a wide range of communities. She is very excited to help diversify access to the city for all New Yorkers.
Caroline holds a BA in Human Rights and French from Columbia University. Originally from Cerritos, California, she currently lives in Brooklyn. She loves self-serve froyo, clownfish, and online geography games.
