Brendan Crain rejoined Open House New York as Program Director in 2026, having previously served in the role from 2014-17. In the intervening years, he managed NYC Culture Pass, a co-presented program of the Brooklyn Public Library, New York Public Library, and Queens Public Library systems. Before his initial stint at OHNY, he worked for the Project for Public Spaces and the Institute for Urban Design (now the Urban Design Forum), where he got his first taste of festival planning working on Urban Design Week way back in 2011.

Brendan holds a BA in English and Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
