Open House New York welcomes seven new members to the Board of Directors

February 19, 2025, New York, NY – Open House New York is thrilled to welcome seven new members to the Board of Directors: Forth Bagley, Managing Principal, Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), Kadean Bruce-Miller, Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager, TD Bank New York Metro Market, Dorothy Dunn, Founder and Principal, Dorothy Dunn & Associates, Elizabeth Leber, Managing Partner, Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners, Karim Rehmat, Founder, Kent Advisory, Natalie Salinas, Founder and CEO, Nth Consulting Group, and Ty Trippet, Spokesman, Bloomberg LP.

"Their varied backgrounds and experience will allow Open House New York to expand programming, reach new audiences, and enrich a public conversation about how our city works."

About Forth Bagley

Forth is a Managing Principal of Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), one of the world’s top architecture firms. Since joining KPF in 2005, Forth has led some of the firm’s most impactful urban projects, including the masterplan of Hudson Yards in New York, the continuous development of Hong Kong’s Landmark and Victoria Dockside districts, and the new Changi Airport Terminal 5 in Singapore. Forth is an expert at assembling and leading large teams of architects and consultants to deliver complicated city-defining projects.

He has a particular interest in issues of density, the intersection of public and private space, and the intricate programmatic relationships within the contemporary city. His experience across sectors, from boutique residential and hospitality complexes to headquarters and commercial projects, is focused on the successful realization of complex, mixed-use lifestyle districts and developments. In addition to the above-mentioned projects, his portfolio includes work in cities across the United States, Asia, and Europe.

In addition to his role on the board of Open House New York, Forth is a frequent speaker for organizations and conferences such as ULI, MIPIM, New York’s Urban Design Forum, and the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), sharing his expertise and passion for architecture that enhances the vitality of its city. He co-edited Perspecta 38 through the Yale School of Architecture, where he is a frequent guest critic and where he has twice taught as the Eero Saarinen Visiting Professor. He also teaches a course at Columbia called "The Value of Design."


About Kadean Bruce-Miller

Kadean Bruce-Miller is currently a Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager at TD Bank New York Metro Market. In this role, Mrs. Bruce-Miller manages a diverse and complex portfolio of Commercial & Industrial clients as well as Investment Real estate customers across the Northeast. Kadean has had a long-standing career in financial services and commercial banking spanning over 20 years. Prior to joining TD Bank, Kadean was the Vice President and Relationship Manager at Spencer Savings Bank where she managed a similar book of clients. In that role, she was instrumental in expanding the bank's commercial & Industrial lending capacity across the Northeast.

As a banking professional, Kadean is very passionate about serving her clients and prides herself on going above and beyond to help them find the best financial solutions the bank has to offer. To this regard her approach is very simple, always treat people with respect as how you would want to be treated. Outside of her role at the bank, Kadean is an active community member and mentor with a passion for supporting local business owners and assisting them with solutions to improve their businesses.


About Dorothy Dunn

Dorothy (Dee) Dunn is a creative leader and catalyst, cultural producer and educator. She is a Special Trustee of the Sara Little Turnbull Foundation and a strategist for family foundations. She was Director of Education at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, Director of Visitor Experience and Fellowships for the public launch of the Philip Johnson Glass House, and Program Director for AIGA, the Professional Design Association. Her clients have included The Municipal Art Society, The Getty Center, The Carnegie Corporation of New York, Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, Buckminster Fuller Institute, and Wassaic Project. Dorothy is recognized for nonprofit and philanthropic strategy, innovative programs, community engagement, and strategic partnerships. Dorothy is actively engaged in the management of her 200-year old family farm in Illinois where she grows black walnut trees as a sustainable hardwood crop.


About Elizabeth Leber

Elizabeth R. Leber, AIA, LEED AP, Managing Partner of Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners, is dedicated to advancing mission-based institutions through forward-looking architecture and planning projects. Guided by her astute and inquisitive nature, Liz excels at extracting the core objectives of her clients and their stakeholders and translating the collective needs and mission of institutions into creative architectural solutions. Liz’s clients include leading schools such as Harvard University, Columbia University, and Philips Exeter Academy; and not-for-profit institutions including the New York Public Library and the 92nd Street Y.

Liz applies these same skills and energy to her role as Managing Partner of Beyer Blinder Belle. Her position affirms the firm’s successful transition to a third generation of leadership and ensures BBB’s long-term strategic vision and sustainability. Liz has spearheaded initiatives focusing on firm-wide culture including greater transparency, collaboration, and inclusion, and is leading the firm’s four-year strategic planning process. Her role also includes oversight of the firm’s business development strategy, including expansion in targeted sectors and geographic markets that align with the firm’s core expertise.

Liz is a board member of Urban Green Council and a member of Harvard’s Design Advisory Council.


About Karim Rehmat

Karim Rehmat is Founder of a boutique multi-family office and wealth advisory firm, Kent Advisory, focused on alternative investing and legacy planning. The practice builds on his past 25+ years of managing and operating private equity funds, hedge funds and family offices as a Chief Financial Officer.

Most recently, Karim was Partner and Head of Operations for Centerfin Capital, a fintech in the wealth management space. Prior, he was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Paragon Outcomes Management, a private equity firm focused on real estate, real assets and credit. In the years preceding, Karim managed larger hedge funds, including D.B. Zwirn and HFR Asset Management and was a chief advisor to the President/CEO on a wide range of strategic topics. He began his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen. Karim is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Over the past decade, he has been active in philanthropy projects with the Aga Khan Foundation and the Chicago Historical Society, which have included co-chairing a gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.


About Natalie Salinas

Natalie is the Founder and CEO of Nth Consulting Group, a certified minority- and woman-owned business offering program management, construction management, design consultancy, and other consulting services to the engineering and construction communities. With 24 years of global experience across the transportation, education, and federal markets, she is known for delivering innovative solutions that drive success and exceed client expectations.

Before founding Nth Consulting Group, Natalie managed large-scale projects for top clients such as DuPont, Merck, the Los Angeles Unified School District, the Dallas Independent School District, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de Mexico, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Her career has taken her to 13 cities worldwide, including Germany, Turkey, the UAE, Kuwait, and Mexico, where she has gained invaluable international insights and cultural expertise.

With a proven track record in program, construction, design management, operations management, and business development, Natalie has successfully overseen over $2 billion across five continents and numerous states. Her unique ability to manage complex, cross-cultural teams and deliver large-scale projects on time and within budget sets her apart as a leader in her field. Through Nth Consulting Group, Natalie continues to help clients meet their goals with strategic, tailored solutions informed by her worldwide experience.


About Ty Trippet

Ty Trippet works in corporate communications at Bloomberg LP where he serves as spokesperson for the global financial technology, data and media company.

Before joining Bloomberg in 2010, Ty worked as a communications executive at media companies including Reuters and Time magazine. He started his career in the political and government arenas, working as a legislative aide in the United States Senate and staffed two presidential campaigns. He’s also served in the nonprofit sector as a communications specialist at the Open Society Institute and the American Foundation for AIDS Research.

Originally from Oklahoma, Ty is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and currently lives amidst the thriving arts and culture scene of Bushwick, Brooklyn.
