Sparrow is a full service contemporary funeral home with offerings ranging from the traditional to the unique. Located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Sparrow is a light-filled space, consisting of two ‘celebration rooms’, a street-facing retail store, and a staff that is compassionate, thoughtful, and thorough. Sparrow will be screening a curated selection of short films on all aspects of death, grief and dying. They are meant to educate, inform and help make the conversation about death a little more accessible. Visitors will also have the opportunity to answer questions from the Death Deck, over 100 cards with a mix of multiple choice and open-ended questions guaranteed to spark lively discussion around the topic of death.  In addition to the short film program and interactive Death Deck activity, Sparrow staff will be leading guided tours of the funeral home on a rolling basis, first come first served.
