What was in the Meatpacking District before the glam and the glitz? Along the way, walk the cobblestones and get close up to the stunning examples of original architecture that prompted the entire District to become landmarked. Peek into the Gansevoort Market Meat Center where existing meatpackers are still now located. Wind up at Pier 57 and enjoy sweeping views of the Whitney Museum, Little Island, One WTC, the Statue of Liberty, and the Hudson River.
