Tour Hanover House shortly before completion with Fogarty Finger’s Harshad Pillai, Director of Architecture, and Anja Pavlin, Associate Director of Multifamily Interiors. Bringing grandeur to downtown Brooklyn, this brand new 295,000 sq ft, 34-story mixed-use complex will offer residences, amenities, and space for commercial tenants. The building offers 314 apartment units, with 95 units reserved for affordable housing. Consisting of a one-story podium and tower, the podium façade is clad in a corrugated clay terracotta and the base features a large arched storefront. Utilizing a curtain wall of windows and panels, the panel sizes gradually reduce from top to bottom, creating dimensionality and a staggering effect. The reddish-brown panels echo the terracotta used in the podium. The lobby transitions guests from the bustling streets to the serene indoors. With fitness, yoga and spin rooms, lounge, co-working and numerous areas for game-watching, screenings, and playing, there is space for every conceivable form of gathering within the building. The sky lounge acts as a sophisticated retreat for intimate dining, imbibing, or taking in the extraordinary views.
