Williamsburg, Brooklyn

The City Reliquary is a portal to a version of New York City that spans all of its memorable eras. Like a cabinet of curiosities on a large scale, the museum is a collection of rare and humble, beautifully arranged artifacts from all five boroughs. Subway tokens and World’s Fair souvenirs share space with remnants of landmark buildings and beloved local businesses, each one with a unique story. A site “off the beaten path” in bustling Williamsburg, the City Reliquary is truly one of New York City’s best-kept secrets.  On view is the special exhibition “Liberty the Tattooed Lady: The Great Bartholdi Statue as Depicted in Tattooing,” featuring vintage tattoo art, photographs and relics. **Saturday & Sunday Tours**: Available upon request.
