The headquarters of BWAF, located within the Manhattan West development, houses archives, exhibitions, and office space designed by SHoP Architects for the foundation’s team. BWAF is leading a cultural revolution in the building industry that will acknowledge, cultivate, and value women’s contributions and achievements—past, present, and future. Visitors are invited to attend a screening of the short film _A Girl is a Fellow Here: 100 Women Architects in the Studio of Frank Lloyd Wright_ (2009; 20 minutes). At a time when few architectural firms would hire women, Frank Lloyd Wright unhesitatingly employed women, giving them both training and the opportunity to practice. Ultimately, over 100 women architects and designers worked with Wright, many of them going on to remarkable careers of their own. This film focuses on six of those women—Marion Mahony, Isabel Roberts, Lois Gottlieb, Jane Duncombe, Eleanore Pettersen, and Read Weber. **Screenings: ** Saturday and Sunday, 12:00pm and 1:00pm
