Important OHNY Weekend Changes and Updates

Each year there are many changes, additions, and cancellations to the Open House New York Weekend lineup. This page will reflect an updated list of those changes; be sure to check back often. For more information about each site, click on the site name.

MAJOR CHANGES

Hamilton Grange National Memorial
Due to unexpected circumstances, this experience is no longer available. Interested in virtually touring another Upper Manhattan National Park Service site? Check out General Grant National Memorial. Tours will be offered on Saturday and Sunday at 12 and 2 pm.

Henry Street Settlement
Due to technical limitations, reservations are now required for this virtual program.

LMCC Workspace Artists-in-Residence Virtual Studio Visits
Reservations are encouraged for this virtual experience. If you are unable to register, a link to join the live stream will be revealed on Saturday.

UPDATES

Brooklyn Navy Yard
This live virtual event now begins at 11 am on Saturday, October 17, and will continue to run until 6 pm.

Prospect Park Waterway
The time for this experience has been corrected to start at 10:30 am. An earlier version mistakenly listed evening hours.

Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater
This virtual experience now premieres at 11 am on Saturday, October 17. A recording of the presentation will continue to be available on-demand afterward.

Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater: Puppet Slam
This virtual experience now premieres at 12 pm on Saturday, October 17. A recording of the performance will continue to be available on-demand afterward.

ADDITIONS

1 Great Jones Alley
A virtual tour and conversation with BKSK Architects about the custom terra cotta glaze developed for the facade of the development is now available on-demand.

Mmuseumm
A self-guided audio tour of the 17 exhibitions inside this compact museum in a former freight elevator is now available. Visit Mmuseumm and call the number on the door to access the audioguide.

Ridgewood Reservoir Exhibition: Curator’s Talk
A curator’s talk will be offered on Sunday, October 18 at 11 am. A link to join on Zoom or the live stream of the event on Facebook will be revealed on the listing on October 17.

Tammany Hall
A recording of the blessing of Tammany Hall conducted by the Lenape Center will now be available for viewing during OHNY Weekend.
