One of the very first events held in the reopened building, the 2019 Open City Award dinner honored the design and development teams behind the TWA Hotel with the Open City Award: MCR and MORSE Development, Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners LLP, INC Architecture & Design, LUBRANO CIAVARRA Architects, Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects, and Stonehill Taylor.

A tremendous thanks to the 450 friends and supporters who joined us for a magical evening of design tours, cocktails, a cameo by Charlie “Stand Clear of the Closing Doors, Please” Pellet, dinner, and site-specific performances commissioned in partnership with Access Contemporary Music and a troupe of professional ballet dancers.
