Curator Tour: Life Between Buildings at MoMA PS1

Open House New York Metropolitan Members are invited to join MoMA PS1 Associate Curator Jody Graf for a curator’s tour of Life Between Buildings. Inspired by the vibrant history of grassroots community gardens in New York City beginning in the 1970’s, the exhibition explores how artists and activists have engaged the city’s open spaces—“vacant” lots, sidewalk cracks, traffic islands, and parks, among others—as a means of reimagining the politics of public space to creative, communal, and ecological ends.

RSVP to [email protected] by December 9. Space is limited.
