With food trucks, pop-up eateries, outdoor activations and tour and demos featured on Instagram, the Brooklyn Navy Yard is the official OHNY Weekend Hub.

The Yard is home to more than 500 innovators and entrepreneurs making everything from countertops to theater sets to biomedical devices and robots. It is a 300-acre campus unlike any other with a 220+ year legacy of invention and industry in the heart of Brooklyn. From Navy-era dry docks to modern architecture with views of southern Manhattan, visiting the Yard for Open House New York Weekend is a yearly highlight for history buffs, techies and art enthusiasts alike.

While the Brooklyn Navy Yard will be Open Access from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm through OHNY Weekend, visitors are highly encouraged to RSVP for free.

Boat: Take the NYC Ferry to Brooklyn Navy Yard/Dock 72
Bus: Take B69 or B57 to Flushing Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue
Bike: Park your bike at one of the Yard’s bike racks
Foot: Enter Building 77 at 141 Flushing Avenue

Attendees to this event should check-in at Building 77, 141 Flushing Avenue. Bike racks are located outside the building; bikers may also bring their bikes inside the Yard where there will be a check-in area. If arriving via the NYC Ferry, attendees will see signs for Building 77. Cars will not be allowed inside the Yard; those arriving by car should park outside the Yard or be dropped off outside of Building 77.
