WSFSSH at West 108: Affordable and Supportive Housing

WSFSSH at West 108 opened its doors in 2021 and is now home to over 250 low-income seniors and families in Manhattan Valley. Join Jenna Breines (WSFSSH Real Estate Development Director) and Shefali Sanghvi (Associate Principal, Director of Sustainability at Dattner Architects) for a tour of this building that offers permanent supportive housing for formerly homeless seniors, affordable housing for families, and also houses Valley Lodge, a transitional shelter that has served homeless seniors at this location since 1988. WSFSSH at West 108th is also home to a Federally Qualified Health Center, the Central Park Medical unit ambulances, provides meeting spaces for community organizations. The construction of this building was financed using federal low-income housing tax credits and a variety of other public and private funding sources. On this guided tour, participants will learn about the development, design and operation of a new model of affordable housing and shelter provision, and will see firsthand the results of a years-long process of collaboration between many community, public and private partners that made this new home possible.

WSFSSH at West 108 is fully accessible. ADA Parking and restrooms are available on-site.

Children 12 and under are not permitted. Children 12 and older must be accompanied by an adult.
