Join us for a tour of the UrbanGlass Studio. Get a look at our facilities, where artists and designers work with glass using a variety of techniques. See our flame shop, neon shop, glassblowing studio, and more. Tours will be offered every 30 minutes and last about 30 minutes. Access is limited to ten people at a time, first-come, first-served.

The UrbanGlass Studio, a nonprofit established in 1977, fosters experimentation and advances the use and critical understanding of glass as a creative medium.

Located on Fulton Street in the historic 1918 Strand Theatre in the Downtown Brooklyn Cultural District, look at the facilities where artists and designers work with glass using various techniques. See the flame shop, neon shop, glassblowing studio, and more.

Tours will be offered every 30 minutes and last about 30 minutes. Access is limited to ten people at a time, first-come, first-served.

The studio is wheelchair accessible, but some of the spaces in the studio are narrow and have minimal clearance around equipment.

Guests will walk through a working studio space on the 30 minute tour. Please wear closed-toe shoes; safety glasses will be provided for those who don't wear prescription lenses.
