Universe City NYC is an ecological public health laboratory consisting of a 5,000-square-foot facility that houses a carpentry fabrication workshop, hydroponic farm indoor greenhouse, public assembly space, and community kitchen. The whole building also functions as a gallery and flexible space.

Join staff from Universe City NYC and its partners, Grow Brownsville, to see the facilities in action and learn about their work to provide free, fresh and nutritious food to community members and create equity and workforce development opportunities.

Building Capital is the latest installment of OHNY’s Urban Systems program and is presented in partnership with Bloomberg Connects
