Friends of Olmsted-Beil House welcomes you to visit the nationally landmarked 17th century farmhouse once owned by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. Visitors will be able to independently walk the grounds of Olmsted’s former Tosomock Farm, now a NYC Park, and view trees planted by Olmsted as early landscape architecture experiments, pre-dating his Central Park designs. While the house itself is closed as it undergoes preservation, our board will be on hand to introduce the site and the steps being taken to ensure its survival.
