Visitors will learn about the history of Morningside Park in relation to its surrounding communities. Topic will include a wide range of historical events stretching from pre-colonial times to the present, including the aborted 1968 attempt by Columbia University to build a gym in the park. We will also discuss current development in the area.
We will be covering rugged terrain with lots of climbing. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes.
