In partnership with Open House New York, the Morgan opens its doors to J. Pierpont Morgan’s historic library for a special before-hours tour led by Jon Maass, Project Manager of the 2022 exterior restoration and garden. Built in 1906 by renowned architect Charles McKim, the library is one of the finest examples of Neoclassical architecture in the United States. Attendees will discuss stone, structure, landscape, and labor, as Jon Maass walks through the building’s history both inside and out.
