Visit LaGuardia Airport’s Marine Air Terminal, an Art Deco building that opened in 1939. It is the only active airport terminal dating from the first generation of passenger air travel in the United States and has been listed in the National Register of Historic Places since 1982. Visitors will be able to experience the pre-security Marine Air Terminal Rotunda, which includes a stoic bust of Fiorello LaGuardia and features the largest mural created during the Works Progress Administration (WPA), “Flight” by James Brooks. Today, the Rotunda is home to part of Frontier Airlines' and Spirit Airlines’ check-in operations and continues to contribute actively to the LaGuardia Airport landscape.

Participants may visit the pre-security-screening rotunda and take a self-guided tour of the building and art through informational displays on view.
