Trace the history and form of New York City’s row houses in the early and middle decades of the 19th century. Representative houses and streets in Greenwich Village will demonstrate how these houses shaped New York’s urbanism and development. The tour is led by Patrick W. Ciccone, preservationist, and co-author of the revised Bricks and Brownstone, the classic history of the New York row house.
Visitors are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and prepare for any weather conditions.
