Founded with a passion for the arts and a commitment to excellence, Great Performances has grown into a culinary powerhouse, operating numerous beloved restaurants, cafés, and concessions across the city, such as Dizzy’s Club, The Norm at Brooklyn Museum, and The Garden Court Café at The Asia Society. During OHNY Weekend, we invite you to explore the inner workings of our operation. Beginning in the first floor commissary, you’ll follow the journey of ingredients from the moment they arrive at our southern loading dock, through various stages of preparation in our walk-in refrigerators, cold kitchens, hot kitchens, and blast chillers. Tours will also visit the Sylvia Center, where we educate children about healthy eating; the Design and Marketing offices, where creativity comes to life; and the Design Warehouse—a veritable cave of wonders filled with everything needed to transform any event into a spectacular celebration.

Closed toed shoes are required to visit the kitchen. Children 12+ are welcome when accompanied by an adult. No animals are permitted in the kitchen.
