Join Shannon Erickson (Director of Education and Development), Christopher Ricker (Director of Programs) and others for a tour of North Park of Freshkills Park, and then up to the top of North Mound, located in the DSNY Site! On this tour the Freshkills Park Alliance and NYC Parks will discuss the past, present, and future of Freshkills Park. This will be an approximately 3+ mile walk. The roads themselves can be uneven at times. North Park is wheelchair accessible; North Mound, within DSNY property is not (uneven gravel paths). The site is completely outdoors. Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes; dress for weather.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All participants will need to sign a waiver before entering the site and those under 18 need to have a parent or guardian's signature. No pets allowed.
