Designed by Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates in 1968, the Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice quickly became an architectural icon of the Modernist era. In 2015, the Ford Foundation partnered with Gensler for a four-year renovation and redesign of its Manhattan headquarters to align the building with the Foundation’s current needs and values while updating and restoring Kevin Roche’s vision.

Spend some time after dark in the newly redesigned atrium! On this tour with lighting designers Carla Ross Allen and Hank Forrest of Fisher Marantz Stone, guests will learn how FMS updated Dan Kiley’s original Atrium design.

This event is presented as part of OHNY @ Night, a series showcasing the work of Lumen Award-Winning Lighting Designers presented in partnership with the New York City Section of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IESNYC).
