Tour the two central buildings of the Cornell Tech campus: the Emma and Georgina Bloomberg Center and the Tata Innovation Center.

The Bloomberg Center, dedicated in 2017, is the home base and intellectual nerve center of campus. From modern classrooms to open work areas to The Café, the building hums with connectivity between students, faculty, and the Cornell Tech community. Designed by Thom Mayne, it is a 160,000-square-foot hub for research and teaching with open meeting spaces for both students and faculty. Art is an integral part of the design, with site-specific commissions by Michael Riedel and Matthew Ritchie and restored WPA-era murals from the Goldwater Memorial Hospital that previously occupied the site. The Bloomberg Center is certified LEED Platinum.

The Tata Innovation Center, designed by Weiss/Manfredi, houses academic teams conducting groundbreaking research and students working to commercialize start-ups with established companies in cutting-edge technologies and products. It is built to LEED Gold sustainability standards and hosts art exhibitions and permanent installations in addition to laboratories and design facilities.

The Cornell Tech campus is located on Roosevelt Island, which can be reached by subway (F), tram, and ferry. Check weekend schedules to time your travel. Please do not drive; there is no public parking available on Roosevelt Island.
