Central Synagogue is a stunning Moorish Revival architectural landmark in midtown Manhattan. Enter the sanctuary to learn the history of the community and its architecture, as well as how both tell the stories of Judaism and New York City in the past, present, and future.

The space will be open for personal meditation, and short, docent-led tours will be available on an ongoing basis.
Our accessible entrance is located around the corner from the front staircase on East 55th Street. The ramp will take you to our lower level where you then have access to restrooms, water fountain, and an elevator. Security check is required upon entry.
