Join OHNY and the Central Park Conservancy for a rare look inside the Naumburg Bandshell, the only Neoclassical building located in Central Park and home to the Naumburg Orchestral Concerts, one of the world's oldest free outdoor classical concert series.

The Bandshell was built in 1923 to provide a larger and more modern music facility for the Mall, which had been hosting musical performances since the 1860s. On OHNY Weekend only, the back-house portion of the bandshell will be unlocked and open for exploration. Central Park Guides will be on hand to share history about this fascinating landmark, provide information about the Conservancy's recent restoration of the building, and answer questions while visitors explore its inner dressing rooms and photogenic stage.
