Brooklyn Navy Yard’s new mixed-use office building ‘Dock 72’ is located on the bends of the East River and affords unique panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline. Designed by S9 Architecture, the 16-story building has a form inspired by the large ships once built in the Navy Yard. The exquisite public spaces and amenity interiors are by NYC-based architecture & design firm Fogarty Finger.

Join the designers from Fogarty Finger on a tour of the interiors of the first floor lobby, coffee bar & lounge—a double-height space with stair & overlook—first floor market for specialty foods & beverage service, second floor juice bar & lounge, fitness center/locker rooms, wellness classrooms & spa, and the top floor’s conference center and lounge. In addition, get a close look at the building’s prominent façade, with its exterior V-shaped structural columns and exemplary tiered terrace design, which make it a contemporary landmark of the Navy Yard. New tenants include VICE, and a portion of the current site is acting as WeWork’s NY headquarters. The site is also accessible via ferry directly to the Yard, where guests can get a peek at the shipping activity directly from Dock 72’s windows on either side.

The tour will be led by architect Alexandra Cuber of Fogarty Finger, see bio below.
