Adaptation(s) 2.0 spotlights scalable solutions for climate adaptation in archipelagos from the Maldives to Patagonia to NYC, some of which have never been previously exhibited. Archipelagos, home to over 1 billion people worldwide, are among the most vulnerable and at risk populations due to climate change, and are an urgent space for the implementation of adaptive solutions. Collectively, the four exhibitions bring together the leading architectural practices of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) (NYC) and Foster + Partners (London), alongside student work and related research activities/workshops at Pratt Institute and the Center for Climate Adaptation. The work showcases our collaborations with local and global partners including but not limited to Universidad del Desarrollo and Georgia Institute of Technology. The exhibition is Co-Hosted by The New York Climate Exchange and is part of the Indoor Public Programs and Residencies hosted by the Trust for Governors Island. **Saturday and Sunday Tours** – Exhibition tours every 30 minutes, last tour at 3:30. Tours are for up to 12 people at a time, first come, first served. Saturday tours are led by David Erdman, Founding Director of the Center for Climate Adaptation. – 12-1:30 pm Walking Tour offered by Professor Carl Zimring. Meeting point Nolan Park 14. Up to 25 people, first come, first served.
