Visitors will see the former rooftop restaurant space of this iconic Art Deco masterpiece. This tour will take visitors up to the rooftop with original design features from Emery Roth’s 1929 hotel tower, once the largest, most opulent hotel in Brooklyn and now a cooperative apartment house. The tour will also focus on CTA’s landmark restoration of the roof restaurant space including Roth’s fanciful multicolored terra cotta elements. Sweeping views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the lower Manhattan skyline are an added bonus.
