What’s your favorite OHNY Weekend memory?

I’d have to say it was my first OHNY Weekend event.  I visited the Central Synagogue in my neighborhood and learned the rich history of the site.  The Moorish architecture of the exterior always made me feel connected but even more-so after the incredible, thoughtful tour.

Why should other organizations participate in OHNY Weekend? 

New Yorkers by nature are curious, intellectually minded people.  OHNY fosters a spirit of coming together for anyone who is interested in learning about the diversity of this city and its built environment.  The more we can come together, the more we learn about each other and forge a learned community.
