Metropolitan members visited the iconic Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice for an after-hours design tour. This midtown landmark — designed by Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates in 1967 — and long-time OHNY Weekend site reopened its doors last fall following a two-year, $205 million renovation, led by Gensler. From the lush plant-filled atrium to the new public art gallery, it’s clear why NYT architecture critic Michael Kimmelman describes this space as “a gift to the city.
