This December, Open House New York offers New Yorkers a moment of brightness with a special series of evening tours spotlighting the work of lighting designers. Produced in partnership with the Illuminating Engineering Society New York City Section (IESNYC), the series is an opportunity to hear directly from award-winning designers about how they envision, plan, and execute the illumination of the city’s buildings. Explore new and notable lighting design projects, plus a special viewing of James Turrell’s Leading (2023) at Friends Seminary.
All tours take place after dark between December 2–20. Additional projects to be announced.

Update: All tours except for The Spiral and Andrew Haswell Green Park are currently sold out. Tickets for these two tours will open on December 4 at 12 pm.

Jen Lewin Studio is open to Metropolitan members only. Information on how to book tickets was emailed to members on November 22. Tickets are $10 per person.
