Open House New York’s President’s Award recognizes a person or organization who, through their visionary work and unrelenting commitment to our city, demonstrates OHNY’s mission to catalyze a city that is accessible and open to all New Yorkers.
“For two decades, Open House New York has opened doors across the city, giving New Yorkers incredible behind-the-scenes access to places steeped in our great city’s history and future—and as a native New Yorker, I am honored to receive the inaugural OHNY President’s Award.”
– Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer
The award is being introduced alongside a newly created Building Capital Award honoring LISC NYC, to mark OHNY’s 20th anniversary and expanded mission to promote access citywide for all New Yorkers. The design and development team for Moynihan Train Hall are this year’s recipients of the Open City Award. The awards will be conferred alongside the Open City Award during the 2022 Open City Benefit taking place at Moynihan Train Hall on June 9.
